Pamantasan ng Cabuyao hits an all-time high this year with more than 6500 enrollees, breaking their highest recorded number of over 5000 enrollees in 2015.
The decision to increase enrollees that time was in anticipation of the dearth of freshmen as Senior High School would begin in 2017. This schoolyear, following the City Mayor’s decision to make college education even more available to Cabuyao’s marginalized youth because of the pandemic, and with the impending decision that online learning will take place, the Administration has opened the university doors to almost 2K college freshmen.
Despite changes in dates of school opening, over 6500 students, both college freshmen and SHS entrants, chose to continue with their education in PnC. Not even the shift in the learning modality deterred these new Dangal ng Bayan who are now part of the new normal in online learning in the country.
