“Nutrition month campaign aims to highlight the importance of nutrition in recovery, stimulate discussion on how to build back better the design and delivery of nutrition interventions, and encourage the participation of various sectors to promote nutrition” mentioned by the Department of Health (DOH).
Yesterday, July 29, 2022. The College of Education, Arts and Sciences has collaborated with the College of Health and Allied Sciences and PNC 5S Engineering to celebrate Nutrition month with a theme of “New Normal na Nutrisyon, Sama-sama Gawan ng Solusyon” at the Covered Court of Barangay Butong, Cabuyao City.
In the said event, after the activities started, the parents were invited to have their Blood Pressure and Glucose Levels checked. Both parents and the kids had their activities simultaneously. For the parents, the Nightingale Society of CHAS gave a lecture on Diabetes Awareness. They also talked about Hydroponics, where the parents learned on how to grow a lettuce with a limited amount of water, which was led by Engr. Aldrin Soriano.
On the other hand, the children had their storytelling, that was led by the CEAS-CSG, that focuses the effects of eating junkfood. Dr. Adrianne F. Jiao and Dr. Virginia Jiao teach them on how to properly brush their teeth, they have also given the children a free dental kits with the participation of Phosel Pharma Inc. by Sir Kalvin Atienza. And lastly, the participating kids was given a books to read that was led by the GenEd Society of CEAS.
Aside from that, foods such as sopas, lugaw, and drinks were distributed to the participants. As the event ends, the former University Student Government President, Mr. Edrian Jelome Rena gave his closing remarks.

To the CHAS admin, Dean Shalini Barroso, Dr. Jinky Malabanan, and Prof. Isabelita Isip for helping us in the process of this activity. Changing This Privacy Notice
Pamantasan ng Cabuyao (University of Cabuyao) may need to modify, amend, or make changes to this privacy notice from time to time to reflect the University’s current privacy practices. On such occasions, the institution will notify all data subjects of material modification to this Privacy Notice through the school’s official website, myPnC, Pinaccle, and when permissible, other means of communication. If the institution shall make any changes to this policy, the date below shall be changed and reflect when the said policy is updated.
Other University Policies
Other policies of the University, which are not inconsistent with this one, will continue to apply. If any provision of this Privacy Notice is found to be unenforceable or invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision will not affect the validity of the other provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
