Pamantasan ng Cabuyao (PnC) visited the University of Makati (UMak) for a Benchmarking Activity

A benchmarking activity was conducted by the university at the University of Makati on October 11, 2022 as part of the university’s preparation to achieve a higher level of accreditation. The PnC benchmarking team was composed of the members of the management committee, college deans, and QMPD director and was warmly welcomed by the UMak administrators. UMak is one of the very few local universities with a level 3 accredited program.

An open forum was also conducted in the morning where different areas of the accreditation were discussed. The strengths, challenges, and best practices of both institutions were also shared. A tour of the UMak’s accreditation room and facilities was the highlight of the afternoon’s activities.

The benchmarking activity also created an opportunity for future partnership and collaboration between the two institutions.

To date, PnC has been awarded by ALCUCOA with twelve (12) Level 2 programs and two (2) Level 1 programs. These duly accredited programs demonstrate the commitment of the university to raising academic standards in order to better serve PnC students by providing free quality secondary and tertiary education.
